CNN Anchor and Documentarian to Keynote Luncheon At Hispanic Real Estate Group’s 2013 Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference
Washington, DC / San Diego, CA [CapitalWirePR] February 20, 2013 – Soledad O’Brien, award winning documentarian and anchor of the CNN show Starting Point, will speak on “Diversity: On TV, Behind the Scenes and in Our Lives” at the keynote luncheon hosted by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) on March 25, 2013 during the2013 Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington D.C.
O’Brien has produced award-winning, groundbreaking and critically acclaimed documentaries such as Latino inAmericaand Latino inAmerica: Courting Their Vote, which explored the impact of the Latino vote inNevadaon the 2012 presidential election.

The March 25-27 forum brings together the nation’s Hispanic real estate leaders to discuss the state of Hispanic homeownership, the current housing environment, increased costs and new barriers for first-time homebuyers, the impact of REO rental strategies on minority buyers and necessary regulatory changes that would promote greater access to homeownership for Hispanics and other first-time homebuyers. Hispanic real estate leaders will also make policy recommendations to lawmakers that address current and proposed public policy initiatives affecting first-time homebuyers.
