Felipe Esparza Leads Quartet of Quipsters at CHCI’s 12th Annual Reyes of Comedy
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) announced its lineup of comedians to perform at the 12th Annual Reyes of Comedy show on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. The event supports CHCI’s award-winning leadership and educational development programs and is part of its annual Hispanic Heritage Month events.
CHCI has assembled an all-star lineup of talented comedians for this great cause, including Felipe Esparza, Alex Reymundo, Melissa Villasenor, and the evening’s emcee and three-time Reyes of Comedy performer Erik Rivera, will pull from their own experiences to portray life as a Latino in the United States. They join several high-profile comedians who have performed in support of CHCI’s mission to develop Latino leadership, including Carlos Mencia,Paul Rodriguez, Greg Giraldo, Cheech Marin, Debi Gutierrez, Gilbert Esquivel, Joey Medina, Bill Santiago and Kiki Melendez.
The 12th Annual Reyes of Comedy is produced by LatinPointe, the premier agency in creating specialized branded content and all-star events in the Hispanic market. This year’s event is an invitation-only benefit and all proceeds support CHCI’s youth leadership development programs.
