Kaiser Family Foundation), as of 2021, more than 42 percent of Medicare beneficiaries, more than 26 million people, are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects that beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans will rise to about 51 percent by 2030.
