Washington, DC [CapitalWirePR] March 1, 2017 – In an effort to guarantee Latino youth across the country benefit from access to one another’s educational opportunities and leadership programs, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) have announced a partnership to ensure deserving students have the knowledge and resources to assist them to obtain scholarships and support services.
The partnership will include cross-promotion and marketing of opportunities such as CHCI’s R2L NextGen, internship and fellowship programs, as well as HSF scholarships and programs such as College Camp, College 101 and the Youth Leadership Institute. Both organizations will also collaborate on networking and career development events for students, alumni of their programs, and other young professionals.
“Now is the time for organizations and leaders in the Latino community to work together to increase awareness of the opportunities for empowerment available to students and young professionals,” said Domenika Lynch, President and CEO of CHCI. “The Hispanic Scholarship Fund serves as a leading institution providing educational opportunities for Latino families and I am proud to partner with them to further our reach and deepen our impact.”
“We are proud to partner with CHCI,” said Fidel A. Vargas, President & CEO of HSF. “CHCI is an organization that plays a critical role in developing leaders for our country and we are excited about working together to expand the impact of our work”.
