FMLN’s Presidential Formula, Salvador and Oscar, closed the official period of the presidential election campaign in El Salvador, with a strong concentration of people coming, from all corners of El Salvador.
Local police authorities estimate more than 350,000 people gathered in Paseo General Escalon, and its proximities, Saturday evening, where the FMLN campaign officials decided to bring their supporters and followers as the campaign to elect the president and vice-president ends.
Sanchez Ceren arrived in light blue, accompanied by pop-star Alvaro Torres to salute the crowd.
«I’m sure the people of El Salvador, on February 2, will participate in our country’s elections and they will vote for the FMLN, they will vote for the future, they will vote for us» said Sanchez Ceren as the people applauded throughout Paseo Escalon, the same place where this political party celebrated their historic victory in 2009.
