NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Focus Financial Partners (“Focus”) today announced the appointment of Adam Birenbaum as President and Justin Ferri as Chief Operating Officer. Both executives are long-serving Focus leaders with deep experience across major parts of Focus’s business. Mr. Birenbaum and Mr. Ferri will report directly to Michael Nathanson, Chief Executive Officer of Focus.
These appointments mark a significant next step in the company’s evolution. It’s also the latest move by the company to ensure that it is led not only by leading functional experts but also by people who have spent their careers close to clients and advisors. Together, Mr. Birenbaum and Mr. Ferri will work closely with Mr. Nathanson and business segment leadership in accelerating the company’s transformation and growth trajectory across its wealth, family office, and OCIO offerings, as well as bringing value and solutions to its more than 60 network firms.
As President, Mr. Birenbaum will assume a key leadership role in advancing the company’s strategic vision, fostering deeper alignment across Focus’s network, and supporting long-term value creation for clients and their advisors. He will also continue in his leadership role with Focus Partners Wealth and Focus Partners Advisor Solutions, where he has overseen the rapid evolution, expansion, and integration of several leading wealth management businesses under a unified platform. In his expanded capacity, he will partner closely with key business segment leaders to support and amplify their leadership.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ferri will lead Focus’s operations, including trading, service and support, client and advisor experience, and firmwide infrastructure, among other critical execution responsibilities across Focus. He will also continue to serve alongside Mr. Birenbaum and others in leading the day-to-day operations of Focus Partners Wealth and Focus Partners Advisor Solutions.
