WASHINGTON, DC [CapitalWirePR] – In its 38 years of existence, the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) has experienced the high demand for Hispanic small businesses to have access to resources and connections to start or grow a business. In response to this need, the Chamber created the Business Expo, the premier event for Washington, DC’s Hispanic business community.
This Wednesday, March 19th, the GWHCC will host its Fifth Annual Business Expo at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The Expo is the largest and most highly-anticipated Hispanic event in the Washington, DC metro region for showcasing businesses and building connections with participating government agencies, corporations, embassies, non-profits, small businesses, and individuals in the local Hispanic business community. This year the Expo will be showcasing 130 exhibitors with the support of more than 50 sponsors and partners.
Brand new in 2014 will be a Health and Wellness section for information and enrollment opportunities in the District’s health exchange with DC Health Link for individuals and families to enroll before the March 31st deadline. Additionally, the Expo will also host an International Row, for connecting with Latin American embassies, and a Workforce Development Row, to connect with organizations providing staffing services.
