GTM Adds Two Managing Directors as Firm Invests in Growth

Investment reflects strong demand for International Tax and Tax Automation Services

WAYNE, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global Tax Management (GTM), the premier firm to focus exclusively on delivering corporate tax services, has welcomed two new managing directors as the firm continues to strategically invest in its growth.

Ross McKinney, formerly Head of Tax for Incyte Corporation, joins GTM as Managing Director, International Tax, bringing more than 22 years of experience advising multinational companies in both the private and public sectors. As a former tax leader for billion-dollar enterprises, including for more than 10 years with Ernst & Young within its international tax practice and business tax services groups, Ross is acutely skilled at navigating the demands placed upon tax departments with significant global operations.

Working alongside GTM’s Raymond Wynman, Managing Director and leader of GTM’s International Tax Services practice, Ross’ perspective and broad tax skill set includes US international tax planning/reporting, ASC 740 income tax accounting, and tax efficient supply chain and transfer pricing structures for intangible-focused companies make him a valued advisor to the clients he serves. Ross holds a B.A. in Business Administration, Accounting and a Master of Accounting – Tax Concentration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Ron Shackelford, formerly of TaxStream/Thomson Reuters, joins GTM as a Managing Director within the firm’s Tax Automation Services (TAS) group, leading the firm’s growth in technology services alongside Managing Director and Chief Technology and Information Officer Ryan Lynch and Managing Director Anthony Sorrentino. Ron’s blend of industry and public accounting experience, along with his leadership in the implementation, delivery, and execution of tax technology solutions for global Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, uniquely qualifies him as a leader of GTM’s TAS team.

While at Thomson Reuters, Ron maintained global ownership of the implementation, consulting, services, sales support, and staff management of direct and indirect ONESOURCE products for clients in the Eastern region and Latin America. Ron’s expertise helped the company achieve substantial growth, leading to a #51 spot the Inc. 5000 list fastest growing private companies and increasing revenues by 2378% over a three-year period. Ron holds a B.S. in Computer Science, Minor Financial Accounting, from Texas Southern University.

“We are excited to welcome two very accomplished and recognized leaders to GTM,” said Dave Sekula, CEO and Executive Director of GTM. “As high demand for international tax and technology services continues, the addition of Ross and Ron to the GTM team greatly expands our depth and national service capability.”
