Igniting Your Benefits Strategy in the U.S – What Effective HR Leaders are Doing – ResearchAndMarkets.com

DUBLIN–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The «Igniting Your Benefits Strategy in the U.S 2023» report has been added to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s offering.

Employees are the heart and soul of any business, and a robust benefits package is not only a way to attract and retain great talent but keep them healthy and happy as well. On the opposite end of the spectrum, bare minimum or stagnant benefits offerings that no longer meet the needs of an evolving workforce can leave employers lacking the skilled, loyal employees required for their business to be successful.

Only six in 10 employees are satisfied with their benefits – the lowest number in the last 10 years, according to MetLife.

In their responses to a recent survey, benefits leaders across all industries say budgeting for and bringing awareness to supplemental benefits are top priorities over the next year and a half. However, a lack of clarity around what benefits employees will use has many concerned about the outcome.

While 70% of employees want voluntary benefits, fewer than half took advantage of them last year, according to a survey by Voya Financial. It is time for companies to get a current read on what offerings are (and would be) most impactful, and get creative with a revised, inclusive benefits package that speaks to the value of the people it serves.

Beyond that, employers need to up their game with their communication strategies, as even the best benefits plan will lead to low satisfaction if no one is really using it.
