NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#KBRA–KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to four classes of notes issued by Anchorage Credit Funding 15, Ltd. (ACF 15), a cash flow collateralized debt obligation (CDO) backed by a diversified portfolio of broadly syndicated corporate loans and high yield bonds.
ACF 15 is managed by Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C. (“Anchorage” or the “collateral manager). The deal will have a 5-year reinvestment period. The legal final maturity is on April 25, 2040. The ratings reflect initial credit enhancement levels, excess spread, and coverage tests including overcollateralization ratio and interest coverage tests.
The collateral in ACF 15 will mainly consist of broadly syndicated leveraged loans and high yield bonds issued by corporate obligors diversified across sectors. The total portfolio par amount is $300.0 million with exposure close to 150 obligors. The obligors in the portfolio have a K-WARF of 2899, which represents a weighted average portfolio credit assessment of approximately B-. KBRA has also considered the potential for near to medium term negative portfolio credit deterioration and the transactions sensitivity to macroeconomic shocks like that seen during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C. (“Anchorage”), founded in 2003, is a global credit platform with over $31 billion in assets under management (“AUM”). This includes the performing credit and collateralized loan and debt obligation (“CLO/CDO”) platform, launched in 2012, which currently has $16.6 billion in AUM across 36 transactions including 22 CLOs and 14 CDOs. The CDOs managed by Anchorage are typically backed by a mix of corporate senior secured leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
The preliminary rating on the Class A Notes considers the timely payment of interest and ultimate payment of principal by the applicable stated maturity date, while the preliminary ratings on the Class D, E, and F Notes consider the ultimate payment of interest and principal.
