Warack joins company during time of exceptional growth, innovation and investments in technologies, people and partnerships to boost national security

HERNDON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Knowmadics —a leading provider of innovative, secure, and adaptive technology solutions – announced the appointment of Karen Warack to its Board of Directors. With over 20-years of federal government experience, in addition to industry and military service, Warack will provide an unparalleled depth of expertise and strategic direction to Knowmadics for continued growth and success in key markets, including government and space technology.

Warack has held multiple senior leadership roles at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Most recently, she served as the Assistant Director of National Intelligence responsible for requirements, cost estimating, and strategic studies. Prior to joining the CIA, Warack held multiple management and executive positions in the private sector. She began her career as a United States Air Force officer, serving as an acquisition manager and system engineer developing the Global Positioning System (GPS).

“I’m honored to join the Board of Directors at Knowmadics, a company with a vision and mission that aligns with my background, experience and principles,” stated Warack. “I look forward to working with the other board members to drive sustained growth and provide guidance on solutions that make a difference for the safety and mission success of Knowmadics’ customers across the defense, intel, law enforcement and first responder communities.”

This appointment comes during a period of rapid growth for Knowmadics, which includes year over year revenue growth over 100%, employee growth of 24% and continued expansion into key regions, including the ongoing development of its Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) located in Wichita, Kansas.

The addition of Warack reflects Knowmadics commitment to bolstering its board with seasoned professionals who possess a deep understanding of government and industry operations as well as the need for innovative technologies to strengthen national security. Warack joins current long-standing, external board members: Lou Brown and Chris Haakon.

“Karen brings to the table a rare and trusted combination of expertise and experience across operations, technology and government,” stated Claire Ostrum, President of Knowmadics. “With a career focused on developing and delivering game-changing technical capabilities to the national security community, her insight will prove invaluable as we continue to grow strong relationships with government, the military and commercial companies to secure space and terrestrial operations and, ultimately, our warfighters and nation.”
