The Lab DC Breakin’ School

Washington DC’s First and Only All Break Dancing School Will Hold an Open House, Tournament, and Community Potluck.
Kids as young as 5 years old will compete in a breakdance competition, presented by http://www.TheLabDC.com (the nation’s first all-breakin’ school, teaching children as young as 2.5 years old).
The Lab DC, founded by Mexican immigrant, Antonio Castillo, was launched in 2012 and has been featured in numerous major print and broadcast outlets such as: Fox & Friends, NBC, CBS, Fox DC, Univizion, Telemundo, and The Washington Post.
Based in Takoma Park, The Lab DC is known for being the first school to specialize in break dancing as a dance and as a competitive sport.
The Lab DC has a curriculum similar to the color-coded Martial Arts ranking system. Rather than cloth belts, students receive different color shoe laces to signify levels of progress and knowledge of breakin’. All programs focus on promoting healthier physical and mental fitness.

This is a family-friendly event focused on health and fitness.
