What is the pandemic’s lasting effect on the region’s health care systems, society, and economy? How has the pandemic impacted vulnerable populations, including women? How can governments, multilateral organizations, and others best support countries’ reopening plans, and what might be the post-COVID-19 opportunities?

As mass vaccination campaigns begin across the region, the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center considers the region’s post-COVID-19 future through our latest forward-looking report: LAC 2025: Three Post-COVID Scenarios, written in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank.

Join us on Thursday, April 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (EDT), as we dig into the findings and uncover what might be in Latin America and the Caribbean’s post-COVID-19 outlook. The event and report discussion will address the role of international financial institutions in the region’s economic reactivation, the pandemic’s lasting impact, and opportunities for a sustainable and resilient post-COVID-19 future. Simultaneous translation in English and Spanish will be offered throughout the event.
