The Social Justice and Solidarity Community of the Washington DC Metro Region invite the community to commemorate and celebrate the life of President Hugo Chávez Frías.
This Saturday, March 9th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Simon Bolivar Plaza, 18th Street, between Virginia and C Street, NW Washington DC 20006
The organizers suggest to wear red and bring any offerings such as flowers, candles, photos and flags to honor the President and his ideals.
Music and prayers for President Chavez and the people of Venezuela will be ongoing throughout the program.
