HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AccessToCare–At a time when access to affordable, high-quality health care is more essential than ever, Legacy Community Health, Texas’ largest Federally Qualified Health Center, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Palussek as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Palussek previously served as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer and as the interim CEO for the past seven months.

The Board of Directors conducted a careful and thoughtful selection process before naming Palussek as CEO. The decision reflects the Board’s confidence in his vision, experience, and proven leadership to guide Legacy forward.
During a period when stability and compassion in leadership are more important than ever, Palussek has shown an unwavering focus on patient-centered care. Palussek brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience in operations, finance, and business development. His background as Legacy’s COO over the last two years provides a strong foundation for operational excellence in the new fiscal year and beyond.
