RESTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#GSA—NVE Inc., a woman-owned small business specializing in facilities operations and maintenance, construction security monitoring, and program support for federal government programs, today announced it has won a contract from the Internal Revenue Service to provide facility operations and preventive maintenance services for its headquarters in Washington, D.C. The contract was acquired through NVE’s seat on the General Services Administration’s Building, Maintenance & Operations Phase I governmentwide contract vehicle.

Under the Small Business Award that includes a base year plus four-option years, NVE will be fully responsible for the operation, repairs, scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment certifications necessary to effectively operate and maintain all building equipment and systems at IRS Headquarters on Constitution Avenue. The firm will support inspections, testing and maintenance of building systems as well as provide support for service calls and repairs to building equipment. Additionally, NVE will perform small projects in support of the agency’s changing needs for space and its workforce.
