Police went to knock at the door of the house of former president Francisco Flores to bring him in before the Special Commission of the Legislative Assembly, investigation the $10 million donation from Taiwan.
Yesterday, the Legislative Special Commission had Mr. Flores for a session of 4 hours. The session was to resume today at 9:00 am, that is the agreement reached by its members.
Flores agreed to leave and to come back today for the continuation of the questioning.
The police said that the mission of the visit to Flores’s residence this morning was not to handcuff him and take him by force before the Commission, but to facilitate his willingness to appear.
Authorities also reported that Francisco Flores may be out of the country.
