The artist 


was born in la Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he studied bandoneon.He won the annual tango orchestra contest in Buenos Aires, and performed for several years at the legendary Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires.
In 2009 Trifilio was invited by Gala Hispanic Theatre to perform in the Helen Hayes award-winning show, «Mummy in the Closet.»
In 2010 he returned to Washington to collaborate with Argentine guitarist Dani Cortaza on their first CD, Una Noche de Garufa. He also appeared in concert with QuinTango at Gala Hispanic Theatre.
In 2012 he started to perform with Pan American Symphony Orchestra (PASO).
