The festival will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with an all-star line-up of entertainers, according to the following schedule:
4:30 p.m. Festival Welcome and National Philharmonic presents Songbook
6 p.m. The Noah Haidu Quintet
7:15 p.m. The Marcus Johnson Project
8:30 p.m. Branford Marsalis
The following roads in downtown Silver Spring will be closed to vehicular traffic during the festival:
• Fenton Street from Colesville Road to Wayne Avenue
• Ellsworth Drive from Georgia Avenue to Spring/Cedar streets
• Roeder Rd. closed to thru traffic, but partially accessible
• Veterans Place closed
Free parking is available in all public garages and lots in downtown Silver Spring. The Silver Spring Metro (Red Line) is two blocks away.
