Village Caregiving Named a 2025 Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee

Company debuts at No. 2 in small business category on prestigious list, also receives “Doers Award” for outstanding execution

BARBOURSVILLE, W. Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Village Caregiving (VCG), a mission-driven, home-care agency in the United States, has been named to the Top Workplaces 2025 in Middle Tennessee list by The Tennessean. With nearly 60 employees in its Nashville office, VCG marks its entry on the list at No. 2 in the small-sized company category, which consists of 55 businesses. The company also received the “Doers Award” for efficient and effective execution. Both awards were announced at an evening ceremony on Wednesday, June 18 at Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.

VCG offers affordable, quality care and support with daily living, such as personal hygiene, light housework, meal prep and companionship, and serves more than 100 clients in Middle Tennessee. The company established the Nashville location in 2023 and has a second office in the Volunteer State, located in Johnson City.

“We are thrilled that our local team feels valued and appreciated,” said Chad Simon, Executive Director, Village Caregiving Nashville. “We show up for our caregivers and they show up for our clients and families. We believe in and empower our caregivers to do what is best and that is why they deliver exceptional service every day.”

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

Earlier this year, Village Caregiving was awarded one of the 2025 Healthcare Innovation’s Top Companies to Work for in Healthcare. The national recognition spotlighted companies that excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. Notably, Village Caregiving earned an overall survey average of 92%, which is higher than the 82% average by all companies on the list.

The company offers caregivers a purpose-filled career that consists of competitive pay and benefits, flexible hours and professional development and training. To learn more about VCG’s career opportunities, visit sites.hireology.com/villagecaregiving.
