Gathering will celebrate the National Hispana Leadership Institute’s 25th Anniversary and Profile the Organization’s Influence and Dedication in Bringing Forward a Generation of Latina Leaders.
Washington, DC [CapitalWirePR] December 6, 2012 – This year marks the 25th year of the National Hispana Leadership Institute’s (NHLI) dedication to Latina Leadership. NHLI celebrates as more than 400 Latinas from throughout the country — representing the public and private sector — gather in Washington D.C. for the 2012 Executive Leadership Conference and Mujer Awards, December 9-11, 2012. In addition to panels led by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Center for Creative Leadership, two principal partners of NHLI’s Executive Leadership Program (ELP), following is a listing of signature events, open to media, during the conference.

6PM: WELCOME RECEPTION – A moving tribute to Founders who established NHLI in 1987.
7:30PM: MOONLIGHT TOUR OF DC MONUMENTS – Hosted by the National Park Service and the American Latino Heritage Fund, the tour will highlight Interior Secretary, Ken Salazar’s, American Latino Heritage Initiative.
