Kids from Washington, D.C., Maryland y Virginia and Around the US Compete in Large Annual Championship Competition. Top Adult Female and Male Break Dancers Join Kids Aged 5-12 to Earn National Championship Titles.
Kids as young as 5 from the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia will compete against the top break dancing kids from around the United States at 2015’s national championship event called “Rock the Box.” Also competing are top local DC, MD and VA adult women and men, as well as leading adults selected from across the U.S. and Canada.
The Competitive Breakin’ League and area’s only break dancing school, The Lab DC, are hosting this event, and last year’s champions will return to defend their titles.
Local kid dancing teams, such as “The Soft Tacos” and “Kid Crew” will compete against other local teams, as well as last year’s champion “Spider Monkey” from Miami and his partner “Gnome” from North Carolina.

Competitors are from DC, Maryland (Silver Spring, Bethesda, Baltimore), Virginia (Alexandria, Fairfax, Springfield) Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Florida, California, Canada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey .Hosted by The Lab DC and The Competitive Breakin’ League.

This is a family-friendly event. Tickets are available at the door for $20 per person, and one child is admitted for free with an adult purchasing a ticket at the event. Advance tickets will be sold for $10 until April 24th at http://RTBcmopetition.com
