CISPES demand an end to deportations and real justice for immigrant

This organizations joins with the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) and others to demand an end to deportations and justice for immigrant communities this July 20-26.

Join in this important week of action against the criminalization and terrorization of immigrant communities beginning with the Saturday July 20 community Forum on Immigration in DC, and continuing for a week of art, action and resistance.
(Forum details at the end of this email). On Monday, July 22, hundreds of people engaged in deportation proceedings from around the country are convening in the nation’s capital to demand justice.
There will be a week of fasting, concerts and direct actions across the district from July 22-26, and we invite all of you to participate in the week of activities for this historic and important struggle. See the events detailed in the attached flyer for more specifics – please spread the word.
Support this struggle and the week of action as a VOLUNTEER. Lots of volunteers needed!
Let’s show the courageous folks fighting the broken immigration system that the people of Washington, DC stand with them – by welcoming and supporting them as our respected guests. There are many needs to care for the hundreds of guests we shall be hosting. Please lend a hand!
