NHLI and the Center for Creative Leadership Celebrate 25 Years of Collaboration

The National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) is pleased to celebrate its 25-year collaboration with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). NHLI’s flagship training program, the Executive Leadership Program (ELP) allows executive level Latinas the opportunity to participate in the intensive, weeklong Leadership Development Program (LDP)  at the Center for Creative Leadership. This 25-year partnership has helped to advance the careers of over 500 Latinas and improve their futures.

Mona Edwards, a CCL Vice President and Chief of Staff said, “NHLI was and continues to be at the forefront in developing women leaders. CCL, by providing scholarships for Executive Leadership Program (ELP) Fellows, is privileged and proud to have played an important role helping the NHLI fulfill its mission, and as importantly, equipping Hispanas to lead through challenge and change.”

“Comprehensive leadership training through the National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) and the Center for Creative Leadership, says 2011 ELP Fellow Olivia Mendoza, has been significant in her quest to be a ‘servant leader working on behalf of my community.’” OliviaMendoza,ColoradoLatino Forum (2011 ELP Fellow)

«It [the CCL LDP experience] was reenergizing and revitalizing as a leader and also as a person. I walked away with critical tools. I learned concretely that I have a contribution to make.» Leticia C. Lara, Lara Consulting Group, Inc. (2012 ELP Fellow)
