The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Inspector General Carlos Acosta is in El Salvador at the United States Department of State’s International Law Enforcement Academy – San Salvador (ILEA).
He is assisting in managing and facilitating a workshop for members of the FBI’s Transnational Anti-Gang (TAG) Units on identifying and documenting best practices for developing actionable intelligence and for conducting investigations and prosecutions in anti-gang operations.
Additionally, the Inspector General, alongside DOJ Trial Attorney Sean Torriente (Criminal Divsion – Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Section) presented two modules: «Gang Prosecutions» and «Human Rights, Ethics, Corruption, and Collaboration».
